I Have A Challenge For You

Do you use writing prompts? I remember writing teachers using some interesting prompts for specific class projects. But honestly, do they work for you?

I found a few interesting websites for writing prompts, as in really strange challenges. This one is interesting, especially number five and six. You died and find yourself in hell. Go. And, you died and find yourself in heaven. Go.

What inspires you? Do you need a writing prompt to get your engine going? One of the other tricks I learned is to simply sit at your computer, or notebook, and write about everything that’s happened to you so far that day. If you just woke up then write about whatever you were dreaming.

Have a great writing day, no matter what it takes to get the creative juices flowing.

I'm blessed. Most of my professional career, almost 20 years, I've spent as a journalist. Some of it was in print, a little in television, but most of it in radio. I've worked with some wonderfully talented producers and directors in those two decades. It would take pages to elaborate on all of the experiences I've had as a reporter, producer and host. Needless to say they include opportunities talking with leaders of state, religious leaders, civic leaders, writers, artists and entertainers. The last couple decades have been a lot of fun. But, the next couple decades will be far better.
