New Look Podcast

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Remember the 70s television show Welcome Back, Kotter? If you do then you’re hearing that opening jingle in your head. If not, please Youtube it. I bring it up because that’s how I’m feeling. I want to welcome you back to the Author Cafe.

Sorry for being away so long, but I’ve been busy. You know how it is. Life. It never slows down. Well, I can’t say what life will be like in my older years. I’m counting on staying busy till I croak.

ClockAnywho…I’m back with a new series of the podcast. And one thing you’ll notice right off the bat is how short the podcasts will run. Yup, these are sixty second podcasts. Why? Because I don’t need that much time to say what I gotta say.

I hope you are writing and writing a lot and having a ton of fun. If you’re not enjoying it, why the hell do it? I’ve had the opportunity to speak with many authors and I’ve picked up some cool ideas I want to share with you.

In the coming weeks we’re going to talk about writing goals, breaking out of your comfort zone, and the 100 Day Writing Challenge. I am also going to share some of the projects I’ve been working on this past year.

So, welcome back. Happy Writing.

I'm blessed. Most of my professional career, almost 20 years, I've spent as a journalist. Some of it was in print, a little in television, but most of it in radio. I've worked with some wonderfully talented producers and directors in those two decades. It would take pages to elaborate on all of the experiences I've had as a reporter, producer and host. Needless to say they include opportunities talking with leaders of state, religious leaders, civic leaders, writers, artists and entertainers. The last couple decades have been a lot of fun. But, the next couple decades will be far better.
